Paul Greengrass shows in this motion picture the events taking place on United Airlines Flight 93 which crashed on 9/11 2001 in Pennsylvania instead of crashing into a government building in Washington. The film does not only display the actions taken by the passengers against the terrorists on the plane but also the view of the authorities and of the passenger’s families. The story is told in real-time and is more of a documentary than a movie. Also, it tries to avoid any heroism.
