This documentary unites over 200 interviews from 25 years, Loretta Walz had with survivors of the concentration camps for women: Moringen, Lichtenburg und Ravensbrück. Alone 100.000 women were imprisoned in Ravensbrück, tenthousands of them died. Hunger, illness, hard work and fear belonged to each day of their life in the camps. But even though they hat physical and psychological problems, they never lost their will to survive. Those women talk about their destiny, about despair and resistance and about their different ways back to life. The documentary shall remind of these women and is a memorial for a whole generation of women in war.
