plot synopsis:
The british commander Geoffrey Carter who is sent to France to destroy a bomb-factory. France by that time is occupied by Nazi-Germany. M. Bonnard, a farmer living next to the factory, is a convinced patriot and offers his help to Geoffrey, but his daughter Odette, having a different attitude than her father, is afraid of her family being punished and hands Geoffrey over to Nazis.
