plot synopsis:
Anne Frank, a self-deliberate jewish girl, gets a diary for her 13th birthday. In it she writes her experiences, thoughts and feelings. When the measures increase against Jews and Anne's older sister Margott is requested to the "working service", the family Frank moves in a hideout in Amsterdam. The 4-headed family divides the narrow space with four other Jews. For Anne it isn't easy to keep quiet, it comes to some conflicts with the other inhabitants. The staff of the factory which is under the rooms of hideout is surprised what there happens. When the inhabitants of the hideout hear the news of the landing of the allied forces in Normandy they are glad and think the war is over soon. But in summer, 1944 they were betrayed and picked up by the gestapo. All inhabitants died in concentration camps, except Anne's father Otto Frank.
