In 2003 a Turkish special unit and American units were in Northern Iraq. On July 4th of the same year, there was a military humiliation. The Turkish soldiers are kidnapped by their American "allies" by pulling sacks over their heads and then driven out of the country. As a result, the first officer of the Turkish special unit, Suleyman Aslan, committed suicide because he could not bear the humiliation. In a farewell letter to his good friend Polat Alemdar, he makes it clear that he should investigate the incident and avenge the crime. Arriving in northern Iraq, Alemdar finds a completely destroyed environment. At any cost, the U.S. is trying to become the most influential power in the region. Now it is up to Alemdar to stop their plans.
