Episode 1:
A German farmer's wife dreams, that the face of a young Russian war prisoner working on her farm changes to the face of her son who died in the war. Therefore she helps the young man to escape.
Episode 2:
In the time after the war the communist Bötcher supports the worker's son Ernst Helwig during the socialist school reform. He has to deal with the middle-class headmaster.
Episode 3:
A young couple, both working in a building project in Halle, relax one weekend at a lake.
Episode 4:
There should be created a repeater for Radio Havanna, but the computers deny the possibility to produce one. Nevertheless, scientists from the Soviet Union and the German Democratic Republic succeed in producing one and send it to Cuba.
