plot synopsis:
1943: The polish city Lvov has been occupied by the Nazis. Poverty and thievery belong to the daily routine. Also the pole Leopold Socha makes a living thanks to burglary until he meets a group of Jewish fugitives. He hides them for money in the drain system of the city. Living on small room, the fugitives represent the complex society on the surface and they experience the situation of relying on each other.
