plot synopsis:
Singapore surrendered in 1942 to the Japanese, leading the British and American soldiers in the city to be imprisoned in a war camp under desaterous cricumstances. There is not even a strong fence round the camp because there is no way to flee for the prisoners. Just one prisoner, King, leads a good live with good food and clean cloth. However, he is about to discover that his positon is fragile at best.
