plot synopsis:
Major William Darby is a hero in World War II. He is leading a highly-trained group of rangers who shall be trained to fight behind the enemy lines in Italy and North Africa. The first part of the film shows the hard training, the second part shows the rangers during the fight. Romantic and humor are mixed into it.
