plot synopsis:
The series in 12 parts is about a Soviet secret agent who works in Nazi-Germany. The storyline begins in February 1945. The agent Maxim Isajew masquerades as Max-Otto von Stierlitz, SS-Standartenführer and loyal member of the NSDAP. By order of his government he wants to find out which German high-level personality tries to intrigue against the Allies. At the same time, Isajew lives in fear of discovery.
