On January 30th. 1933 Adolf Hitler was declared as Germany's new chancellor by president Hindenburg though that year had not started succesfully for the National Socialists. Many historians concider the NSDAP to have been in a state of decline in that time. As the economic crisis declined and the unemployment data improved Hitler would have lost more and more support of the German people in the following months. However, Hitler managed to become chancellor though there would have been several other opinions for Hindenburg to cope with the cabinat crisis.
