In November 1924, a young Estonian couple who has just gotten married and on their way to their honeymoon is surprised by an attempted coup of Estonian Bolsheviks. Tanel, an officer of the Estonian army, gets arrested. Anna, his wife, gets kidnapped. Tanel manages to escape and his first goal is to free his wife. He also teams up with the commander of the counter-revolutionary force. They both try to intercept a call for help from the Bolsheviks for the Red Army.
