Theis task is to secure peace in the region, but the hostile grouops of Serbs and Albanians still fight each other, there is murder and scavenging. The mission of Tom and Charly's company is to protect the Serbian ghetto against an act of revenge of the Albanians and to find an Albanian arsenal.
Tom and Charly save the young Serbian Mirjana from a deathly shot by the sniper Durcan. Charly gets hurt during this action without authority and Tom chases the sniper and stands face to face with an adolescent. The motif for his deed was that Mirjana's father has been a doctor, among others responsible for a massacre, in which many Albanians died, among them Durcan's parents.
