Albania, winter 1944: Three partisansare charged with an important task, which has to be carried out even at the cost of their lives. Under heavy cloaks, which serve as protection against the cold and as a disguise the three set out on their mission. However, in the course of their journey, they are discovered by the Germans who chase after them and try to catch them alive. With the help of other partisans and peasants the three eventually manage to escape.
