This documentary illustrates the brutal dimension of the NS crimes with the help of interviews of survivors from the concentration camp Auschwitz. The film tells the story of the victims as well as the story of the perpetrators. German survivors tell their stories about persecution and the inferno Auschwitz. They talk about the brutal everyday life in the camp and about how they were set free. Historians and investigators from all over the world worked closely together to collect global information and film material. This film is a collection against forgetting and leaving behind.
