The film tells the story of Albert Speer, Hitler's architect and friend. It shows his rise within the Nazi Party, leading to fame in the 1930s because of his work for the Nazi monuments. The second part of the film focuses on Speer's life as Minister of Armaments during World War II. Speer was one of the motivators who kept Hitler's war mashine running. His final destiny was 25 years in prison because of war crimes.
