plot synopsis:
Veneto, 8th September 1943. The radio broadcasts the famous communiqué announcing the armistice requested by the Marshal of Italy Pietro Badoglio. Enthusiasm broke out quickly and on the mouths of the military resounded the scream “The war is over, everybody go home!” But reality will soon turn out to be dramatically different. The German allies have become enemies, the King and Badoglio have fled, the troops without precise orders are in disarray.
