plot synopsis:
Hiroshima 1959: a young French actress and a Japanese architect, a survivor of the A-bomb, have spent the night together. He reminds her of the first man she loved, a German soldier she met during World War II. The encounter brings memories of the end of the war in France and Japan back to their minds.
