plot synopsis:
A drama from the Slovak National Uprising. IN a small Slovak village a German soldier kills his friend in a fight and then spends the night with a woman in her house. The sadistic SS commander takes ten hostages for the two lost soldiers. After the main culprit appears again, the hostages are given the cruel task - to choose five among them whose life will be safed.
