plot synopsis:
Immediately after the Second World War in the destroyed and corrupt city of Berlin: Edmund, a youth filled with Nietzsche ideas and Nazi ideology is influenced by his former, homosexual teacher kills his ailing father and commits suicide.

remarks:
The combination of the oppressive documentary of life in the ruins of Berlin and the family-drama is not very convincing. But as an example of Italian neorealism and considering the complete works of Rosseline this film is of interest.
