Biographical feature on Admiral Canaris, head of the German intelligence from 1937 to 1944, who belonged to the early warners and sceptics of the nazi-regime. He became the counter-part of Heydrich, chief of the SD, and was executed for cooperating with the conspirators of July 20th. A strongly idealizing superficial drama with excellent actors that does little to enlighten the historic circumstances.
