The surgeon Dr. Ali works in the emergency unit of the Al Yarmouk Hospital in Bagdad. Every day there are bombings, sometimes about 100 persons are killed and a countless number of injured. Under unimaginable circumstances the doctor has to treat his patients. Both, doctors and patients are desperate, many people want to escape - they lose hope that the situation of their country could improve.
