At the beginnning of the 90s the 'Südwestrundfunk' had reported on the war in Bosnia-Herzegovina in various documentaries. One topic was the ethnic cleansing of the city of Kozarac. All the imams, Muslim teachers, medis. policemen and otherw were either killed or deported to camps.
15 years later the film writer Monika Gras returned to Bosnia and also visits Kozarac. Houses and mosques are rebuilt and there are many cafes and young people in the streets, but if one takes a closer look the trauma of the war is still visible. Many people are still searching realtives and many of the war criminals are still free.
