plot synopsis:
In the mid 90s the civil war in Sierra Leone determines the life of the people. Ezra is eight years old when he is kidnapped by rebels and has to work as an infant soldier and help to smuggle diamonds. Under the influence of drugs he even has to attack his own village.
Years later he tries to get back to a normal life, but he has to deal with his past not only in a psychotherapy but also in front of a UN-tribunal.
