plot synopsis:
Returning home from a multiannual Afghanistan-operation the successful U.S. Army medic Maggie Swann wants to look after her little son again. But for him his mother is a stranger and he does not recognize her any more. Only steady they succeed to approach to each other and to establish a relation. With help of her son and the people surrounding her Maggie learns how to acclimate herself in the normal world again. But still something inside her wishes to be back at the front. As the question arises whether one sends her to a second operation she has to decide between her family and her fatherland.
