plot synopsis:
Danger Close deals with the Battle of Long Tan between 18. - 21. of August 1966 during the Vietnam War from the viewpoint of the ANZAC-Soldiers. The soldiers are facing an overwhelming force of Vietcong and PAVN-Soldiers.
Major Harry Smith and his 108 man strong unit need to defend themselves against an overwhelming force as well as the harsh weather conditions. With ammunition running low and casualties mounting, the soldiers need to find the strength to carry on.
