plot synopsis:
The film takes place at the end of World War II and deals with the Nazi general Dietrich von Cholitz who is in charge of Paris. He gets the order from Hitler to burn the city if the allies get to close to it. But instead he decides not to be the one who will be kown as the man who burned Paris.
