plot synopsis:
The film takes place in the Middle East and deals with the successful journalist Konrad Lange, who investigates a story about war orphans for a magazine in Hambourg. People warn him because of snipers, but he takes two children from Kurdistan with him to the war area. The small Shadi gets shot and Lange fights with his bad conscience. But at home he is seen as hero.
