Harvard alumnus John Reed engages himself in the american worker action and becomes joint founder of the communistic party. In 1914, he works as war correspondent in Mexico, after that he travels with his wife Louise Bryant to Russia. When the revolution starts in 1917, Reed and his wife witness everything. As they come back to the USA, Reed writes down his impressions in the book "Ten days which concussed the world", for which Lenin wrote the epilog. Redd holds on with his engagement für the worker action. As he travels with his wife to Russia again in 1920, he has to bewail that many ideals had to lose ground for the red tape. In spite of everything he tries to stick to his communistic ideas. He dies in the age of 33 and gets entombed as the first and only American at the Kremlwall.
