plot synopsis:
This film deals with the atrocities that happened in Nanjing during the war between Japan and China in 1937. The story is told from the point of view of a family with a Chinese father and Japanese mother. After the Japanese army has entered the city, torture and murder starts. They even don't stop in front of the safety zone of the Red Cross, the last save point for the civilians.
