Painter Martin Pratt lives with his wife Monika in a little atelier. Because he thinks that his paintings are not good enough, he does not want to sell them and puts up financial consequences. Monika thinks that the paintings are great and sells them under her own name at an arranged special exhibition. Caused by the well process of selling the paintings, Felder wants to get to know Monica. But when Monika is asked to paint a big fresco, everything leaks out. Nevertheless Martin helps Monika and paints the fresco, but the two get into a conflict and Monika tells the publicity everything.
