plot synopsis:
The film takes place during World War II and deals with the taking of Assisi in 1943. Father Rufino tries to bring the Jewish population to the save Genua. Müller, the commander of the Nazis accepts this, but his boss, major von Velden doesn't want the Jews to leave.
