plot synopsis:
Mother Maria Skobtsova, a Russian nun, leaves her native Russia in 1917 and establishes a home for Russian immigrants in Paris. During the Second World War she joins the French resistance movement helping Jews and other people persecuted by the Gestapo. Eventually, the Gestapo finds out and takes her away to the Ravensbrück Concentration Camp.
