plot synopsis:
The film takes place in 1918 in Bulgaria. Slowly the war comes to an end. The troops of captain Conan fight different from other units of the armee and earn respect. Even when the armistice is signed, they keep on fighting. When they finally go home, they can't find back into social life. Their lifes become meaningless. This moving story shows a picture of the time after the war without illusions and denies every useful function of war.
