remarks:
Padeniye Berlina was produced on the occasion of Joseph Stalin’s 70th birthday. The film focuses above all propagandistically his role during the Second World War. It is considered as an important representation of Stalin’ s cult of personality. After the death of the dictator in 1953, corresponding to the De-Stalinization, the film was pulled from distribution in the Soviet Union.
