plot synopsis:
The Alliied pilot William C. Barton is shot down over Belgium during World War II. In a country full of German troops, Pierre and his daughter, members of the resistance, try to smuggle William and some escaped prisoners of war into Spain, but when he is seen writing a letter with a German address, he is mistaken for a spy and shot.
