plot synopsis:
1942: The 10- year old Sarah lives in France, when she and her parents get victims of the deportation of Jews. Though she hides her brother in behind a door in the wallpaper. Sarahs parents are brought to the Auschwitz, but she escapes, is hosted by a couple and searches her brother who diedin his hiding place in the meantime. 2009: As the journalist Julia researches information about the deportation of Jews she finds out that their french parents-in-law live in the apartment that once was the home of Sarah and her family.
