plot synopsis:
During World War II American troops, dressed like Italians, take the Italian camp in El Alamein (North Africa). Even when the Germans arrive to visit the camp and celebrate the German-Italian friendship, their disguise works well. When the truth is discovered, a bloody fight would have to start. But both sides lay down their weapons because war seems to be senseless.
