plot synopsis:
This documentary-drama deals with the escape and expulsion in Europe during World War II. The focus is set on the true lovestory of the Polish Fortek and the German Elvira. Both get separated during war and meet again for the first time after the fall of the wall, but their love survived during this time. In autumne 2005 - sixty years delayed - they get married. The film shows a very private version of German-Polish reconciliation.
