plot synopsis:
This film deals with the failure of colonial politics in the Sudan. Gerneral Gordon defends the capital Khartoum against the "holy war" of the Mahdi, but without success. This adventure movie simplifies the real political situation, but contains great scenes of the landscape at the Nile.
