This documentary tells the story about the guilt of Klaus Konrad, the last survivor of the 274th infantry regiment, during the massacre of San Polo. In 1944 48 men are burried in a mass grave in the Toscana after an action of partisans. 16 of them were still alive. Klaus Konrad belonged to the responsible troop and talks about those things for the first time in this film. But even after so many years the now 90-year-old man doesn't feel guilty. He talks about his life after the war and his career in politics.
