plot synopsis:
It is 1967 and Rat and Fossie are army medics in Vietnam. Rat's friend Fossie imports his American girlfriend Marianne, an innocent and charming girl and the unit enjoys her company. But Marianne is fascinated by the war carnage and even wanders off into dangerous territory. She makes friends with the unit of the "Green Berets" and Fossie wants to send her home, but one day later she disappears.

The sory is told in flashbacks by now Vietnam-veteran Rat.
