plot synopsis:
Private Snafu learns in his training about the importance of having a gas mask. Still, when in combat attacked by an anthropromorphic gas being he doesn't have it with him. Only in the last moment he is able to put it on his face so that the monster can't touch him. This way he learns never to go anywhere without his mask.
