plot synopsis:
Africa 1942: German and Italian troops attempt to advance to the Suez canal. Both sides do not trust each other much but when the British under the command of Montogomery start a counteroffensive, they forced to fight side by side. At the battle of El Alamein the Germans are forced to retreat, leaving their Italian friends to try to fend of waves of British troops for as long as possible to cover their retreat.
