plot synopsis:
This documentary deals with the admiration of the Soviet dictator Iossif Wissarionowitsch Dshugaschwili, called Stalin. On 5th of March 1953, the day of his death, not only the Soviet Union lost a ruler, also the GDR lost a "God". In life time, people of the GDR admired him like God himself, but he remained in distance to Germany. The film deals with the cult of Stalin, that survived his personal death and ended in a specific German Stalinism. New historical resurch proofs the reign of terror and create a psychological pisture of the dictator.
