plot synopsis:
The film takes place after the 40 years of civil war in Chad. The radio announces that the government amnestied war criminals. Gumar Abatcha now wants his 16-year-old grandson Atim to search and kill the murderer of his father. Armed with the gun of his father Atim searches for Nassara, who made him an orphan. He finds Nassara, now living a normal life, being married, going to the mosque and owning a bakery. Atim decides to start there as an apprentice, as he assumes it would be easier to gun down Nassara this way.
The film shows a country, shaped by violence, hatred and revenge.
