plot synopsis:
Billy Pilgrim, hero of Vonnegut`s bizarre fantasy novel, lives simultaneously in his past as a young American P.O.W. witnessing the Dresden bombing, in his future as well-cared-for resident of a zoo on the planet Tralfamadore with the vuloptous Montana Wildhack as his mate, and in the present as a middle-aged optometrist in Ilium, N.Y., with his overweight wife, an a son who enjoys desecrating cemetaries and later joins the Green Berets.
