plot synopsis:
The film deals with the life of Keisuke Kinoshita. He tells the story about how he experienced the 9th of August in 1945 as a child. This was the day, when the atomic bomb was thrown on Nagasaki. Three days after the atomic bomb fell on Hiroshima, also this Japanese city was destroyed. Destruction and suffering seem to make no sence, because the war was already decided.
