British spies smuggle themselves into Norway, which is at the time occupied by Nazi-Germany, to free the norwegian General Heden who is supposed to reconquer Norway. Immediately after their arrival Falken, a norwegian man who is with the british, is being recognized by a woman who has a liason with a german soldier and they are being told on to the germans. They have to flee the Gestapo soldiers but are able to fight and defeat them. With their newly won uniforms they go into the prisoners camp where Heden is being held and are able to free him but are being followed by german soldiers. Heden is shot and Falken is to run into town to bring a doctor but is being betrayed by the same woman again. Persecuted by Nazis, the german soldier from the beginning who initially betrayed them now helps them in escaping.
