plot synopsis:
Lt. Harry Brubaker is a lawyer with a loving wife and two young daughters. He has been recalled to duty from the Navy Reserve, and only reluctantly accepts, since as a WWII-pilot he has served his country enough.
His mission to fly with a bomber-jet squadron over one of the Communists' most heavily protected targets - the strategically vital bridges in the Korean canyon of Toko-Ri.
After Brubaker dropped his bombs on the target he is unable to return and forced to land in enemy-held territory. Mike Forney, a helicopter scout who has saved his life on previous missions, comes to his aid, but the two are both killed in gun-battle with te Koreans.
